Project Kiducation Healthcare Initiative
Although healthcare is not our main goal, we at Project Kiducation do believe that it is also an important initiative to support. Some of the organizations that we currently support have, alongside education, made great strides in improving healthcare in impoverished regions.
The Madagascar Ankizy Fund provides the Malagasy villagers with access to basic health and hygiene through measures such as temporary clinics, clean water wells and sanitation facilities. The Ankizy Fund has already sent seven dental missions in order to improve the poor levels of oral hygiene. Additionally, the Fund is building water wells to bring clean water to villages.

Sri Mathrudevi Vishwashanthi Ashram Trust, or SMVA Trust is a humanitarian organization that mainly works to improve healthcare in underpriveged communities in both India and the United States.
In India, in particular Andhra Pradesh, SMVA has been able to install 16 water treatment plants to 16 different villages to date, impacting over 2000 families. In addition, SMVA medical care started out through a mega medical camp in 2002, and has now transformed into a fully-functioning free hospital in 2004. This hospital provides a wide array of services, such as cardiology, physiotherapy, X-ray, optometry, dentristry, and gynecology. Furthermore, also in 2004 SMVA has established a Mobile Medical Van, which has provided over 2 million free medical treatments throughout the region.
In the United States, SMVA runs medical camps and health fairs to "bring doctors, specialists and volunteers together" in order to provide skilled medical attention to those who need it. By partnering with other non-profit organization such as the American Red Cross and Miracle Foundation, SMVA has been able to bring about free medical care to those who cannot otherwise afford it, including regions in Washington, Californa, Georgia, and New Jersey.
